THE BELLAGIO HOTEL LAS VEGAS (NOT IN ITALY!!)

Opening October 15th, 1998, the Bellagio is still one of the most elegant and entertaining hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. The Bellagio is located on the southern end of Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as the Las Vegas Strip, and was built on top of the demolished Dunes Hotel and Casino . The project was masterminded by Las Vegas legend Steve Wynn and built by Mirage Resorts.

More than just a typical hotel or casino, the Bellagio boasts an enormous variety of attractions and ammenities for all to enjoy. When you first walk into the building, you will experience a sensual overload of luxury and style. You can definitely notice the class and elegance that surrounds you as you walk through the property.

The hotel is an AAA 5-Diamond award winner and offers nearly 4,000 luxurious guest rooms, suites and villas for their patrons. There is also an award winning spa and salon with a menu full of unique, international treatments to help you relax and revitalize your mind and body, Just select the package that caters to your needs and you will be sure to lose yourself in the moment and take your mind off the daily grind.

The casino features everything you would imagine a Las Vegas Casino would offer, including slot machines, video poker, race and sports book, world class poker tables, blackjack, craps and a variety of additional table games. There is truly a game or machine for everyone.

When it comes to dining at the Bellagio, you have everything from quick snacks and casual dining all the way up to first class fine dining at it's best. For fine dining, you have a nice variety of choices to satisfy anyone's tastebuds.

Speaking of world class poker, the Bellagio by far has the most elite, high stakes poker room, known as Bobby's Poker Room, that is legendary for it's high stakes excitement and drama. The term “No-Limit poker” really has meaning here as the amount of money on the table at any given time is mind boggling. The Bellagio also plays host to several World Poker Tour events each year. These events attract celebrities and tourists alike and is a great place to sit down at a table with the worlds most famous poker pros and celebrities and test your game. Just make sure you have a good size bankroll, otherwise you may just want to watch from the spectators area.

BELLAGIO HOTEL ENTERTAINMENT

When it comes to entertainment, other than gambling, the Bellagio also has plenty to offer too. Starting with the outside of the building, the Bellagio offers the most spectacular water fountain show known to mankind. The Fountains of Bellagio is an aquatic light and music show where the water fountains are the stars of the show. Every 15-30 minutes (depending on the time) the fountains come to life as the water literally starts dancing to the classical, Broadway or opera musical selection that rotates throughout the day. The show is free for all to view and can be seen from the Las Vegas Strip and in parts of the Bellagio's restaurants and nightclubs. Another great viewing angle is from the top of the Eiffle Tower across the street at the Paris Casino.

Once inside, you should take a walk through the Botanical Gardens and Conservatory, which is also free and open to the public. Each season you will find a new and unique arrangement of natural flowers and other plants, to gazebos, ponds, bridges and whatever additional water features the horticulturalists can conceive. The attention to detail and the breathtaking elegence found in the Gardens is quite a statement of the care and beauty put into the enire Bellagio property.

BELLAGIO HOTEL EVENINGS - WINE, DINE &DANCE

Also boasting one of the top theatrical shows in all of Las Vegas, The Bellagio hosts the award winning show “O” Cirque Du Soleil. “O” is a timeless theatrical performance with world class acrobatics and synchronized divers and swimmers. The internation talent presented in the show will create a lasting memory for anyone. This is definitley a show you want to see when you visit Las Vegas and offers two shows each evening except for Mondays and Teusdays.Prime Steakhouse is a recommended stop for the steak lovers out there. For Tuscan fare and a touch of romance, there is Circo. Jasmine offers Cantonese cuisine and a lake side view for it's patrons. There is also Le Cirque, an AAA 5-Diamond award winner that offers French cuisine in an intimate setting. Michael Mina's seafood restaurant is a great place for exquisite seafood and wine. Then there is Picassos, another AAA 5-Diamond award winning restaurant (For 8 consecutive years!) offering cuisine from the regions of Spain and France. Picassos also has quite the collection of wine in their well stocked cellar.

After dinner, it is time to enjoy the nightlife. Hopefully you didn't eat too much, but if you did, you can dance it off in one of the Bellagio's nightclubs.

The most prestigious nightclub in Las Vegas is The Bank inside the Bellagio. This is truly what high class is all about. The Bank is very elegant and exceptionally designed and will provide a night of high energy and sensuality for all. For more of a sleek setting, the ultra-lounge, Caramel Bar and Lounge, is a great place mingle and to enjoy exsquisite cocktails. Another great place for live music and dancing is the Fontana Bar. The Fontana Bar has a great stage and seating available inside as well as an outdoor section that is lakeside and offers a great view to the Fountain Show.

So now you know that on your next trip to Las Vegas that the Bellagio has more to offer than you can probably take advantage of in one trip, but at least you know you can have the time of your life and come back again and again to try new experienses. The Bellagio is truly first class from head to toe and is definitley worth experiencing first hand.
