Historic Itinerary Around Bellagio.

If you're a tourist who would want to explore the sights of Bellagio, a walk in town is perfect way to see the beauty of the old centre, starting from Borgo, which is the historic centre of Bellagio you can tour seven of the 22 districts of Bellagio in two hours. In Pescallo, you will be taking a dive into nature, history, and unequalled beauty hidden among the trees on the mountain slopes.

About an hour walk from the town centre is the Mills of Perlo di Bellagio and an hour and a half in to Chevrio Makalle is a wonderful panoramic spot that has a grand view of Lake Como. A two and a half walk to Piano Rancio rewards you pastures of flowers, in Monte San Primo, the view of the Alps to the Po Valley, from Alpe del Borgo, you're up to Rifugio Martina from the Alpe delle Ville.

Isola Comacina.

Isola Comacina is an ancient fortress, with ruins and the basilica, Prior to 1169, it was a refuge of vassal rebels and a region of naval baffles with Milan against Como. The island was raised to the ground by the people with the help of Barbarossa in 1169, it still has the picturesque ancient settings and shores of Spurano, the Romanesque style church of San Giacomo and the Santa Maria Maddalena.

The place is rich in history, art, tradition and memories of architectures and remains that seem to resist the passing of time, it also has an aura of mystery with it's churches and buildings in great numbers that are now buried between clearings. After a tour of the island, a cool drink at La Botte and the pleasure of a tasty meal to enjoy and share with family and friends.

The Salons of Bellagio.

These are the old porticoes on the lakefront of Bellagio, in order to give full satisfaction to visitors and locals alike with the perfect view of the town, docks for pleasure boats were rebuilt during the turn of the 20th century, in particular giving respect to the feel of the old docks. These pleasure boats offer tourists and locals a way to enjoy the lake, what is most interesting about sailing is returning to Bellagio because of the view from the Lake, as you come closer to the dock, it gently reveals the scintillating beauty of Lake Como.
