Travelling to Bellagio

Reaching Bellagio is quite easy as the nearest airport to Bellagio is the Malpanesa Airport in Milan, which is only a short distance to Lake Como's Bellagio. Bergamo airport is also a commonly used airport and although smaller is marginaly closer by road than Malpensa. We have added a lot of useful links to the right of this page to help you.

Travelling to Bellagio By Air.

Bellagio is situated in the Province of Como and is a very beautiful place for all to come and enjoy it's scenic beauty, there is no airport in Bellagio, though the nearest airports to Bellagio are in Milan and Bergamo, to reach Bellagio, you will need to take a bus or ferry to Bellagio, you can reach Orio al Serio Airport in Milan, from Orio al Serio Airport you can catch a bus shuttle to Bergamo rail station. From Bergamo rail station you need to catch a train to Lecco and from Lecco, you need to change train to Varenna, the journey time is not more than 1 hour 30 minutes, from Varenna you can enjoy a ferry ride to Bellagio, however you can also take a bus shuttle from Lecco to reach Bellagio in an hour, again, to avoid the circuitous route, you can take a taxi from Milan Airport to Bellagio.

Travelling to Bellagio By Water.

Very near to Milan, in the north of Italy lies the beautiful Lake Como and Bellagio, the small village is often referred as the Pearl of lake Como, from Como you can take a ferry ride to this beautiful town Bellagio, as you leave the east bank of Lake Como, with it's scenic beauty along the lakes shores. The ferry ride is no more than 30 minutes. Reaching Bellagio on a ferry offers the most picturesque landscape as you cruise along the deep blue water, surrounded by the untamed wilderness of the mountains, Bellagio lies just at the tip of Lake Como from where it divides into two branches, the village is just a short walk from the docks, before travelling you will need to check the ferry times.
